I'm James Harding, a professional photographer based in the West Midlands, working with businesses, organisations and individuals across the UK to create impactful, high-quality photography.

Since picking up my first camera, my photography has evolved from a personal passion into a professional service trusted by clients across multiple industries.

 

My work has been featured by organisations including Avanti West Coast, National Rail, Alstom,  CrossCountry and Lumo, and in 2025 I was commissioned by Railway Mission to photograph a charity event held within the Houses of Parliament.

My photography has also received industry recognition, including winning the Professional Photographer category in Avanti West Coast's Together We Roll photography competition and being featured in Modern Railways magazine.

While transport and railway photography remain close to my roots, my work now spans a diverse range of subjects including commercial photography, corporate events, automotive photography, portraits, pets and brand-focused candid content. Whatever the subject, my focus is always the same: creating images that tell a story, capture attention and deliver value for the client.

I am entirely self-taught, having developed my skills through years of practical experience, continuous learning and thousands of hours behind the camera and in the editing suite. That journey has helped shape a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality and a constant drive to improve.

Today, I continue to expand my work with national operators, businesses and private clients throughout the UK. Whether I'm documenting a major event, producing commercial marketing content or capturing a unique moment through my lens, my goal remains simple: to create professional photography with purpose, quality and lasting impact.
